When life gets too hard to bear – when a situation or a phase you are going through becomes overwhelming, fogging your mind to make rational decisions and dictating your body through scenarios that do not serve your highest good – it might be an inner call to return to your truth, to learn about yourself and convert that challenge into potential, creating the new experience for the stream of events called personal reality.
The first step in gaining emotional intelligence is getting to know yourself. It is like discovering a secret map of your life – why and how different mechanisms have been established, setting you in emotional conditions to initialize relevant connections, dynamics, and situations within your physical experience.
Emotional healing is about courage and openness to shed light on what your conscious mind might not be ready to confront, and patience within the process of reframing your previous narrative into an anticipated one.
Now, you have the choice.
Pain can be both healing and destroying
We were all at that point in life, experienced situations or encountered people who had the power over our feelings.
Not being in charge of your own emotional world is a heavy burden to live with. It is a powerlessness that refers not only to conditioning and adaptation to environment – requirements, individuals, events – but is responsible for and largely determines your current perception, emotional responses, quality of interactions, and decision-making in all areas of life.
Strength is not a privilege, but your inherent nature
Emotional pain is an untroubling somatic occurrence – an energetic signal in the body that arises when the mind experiences an extensive loss, a shocking event, or associates current situations with those experienced as unpleasant in the past.
Despite the fact that the brain usually creates an illusion based on the past in order to evaluate the present, emotional pain is a very real thing that is processed by the same instances of the nervous system that screen physical pain.
The emotional aspect is an unavoidable area to explore and improve in order to establish an envisioned self-image and maintain it in the most sustainable way. Every past experience, as well as what you’re intent to improve and achieve – self-esteem, transformed relationships, new career, inner worth, emotional balance – it all flows and transforms through the emotional sphere.
It is not necessarily emotional pain, depression, or struggle of any kind why you are to recover your emotional world. Emotional balance refers to a profound connection to an emotional body – learning to listen to how your past, imprinted through emotions in your subconscious mind, expresses itself through physical scenarios – choices, connections, circumstances – that seem to be out of your power.
Emotions are the energy in motion (E – motion) and a language of the body to evaluate and express the experience, creating the momentum – a fragment of a timeline in space called life. They are the energy of the body to express the mental image – the thought – and conduct the (re)action. An action is the purpose of us humans; it is what we are – a creation / the dynamic of the existence. Emotions are not only the meaning that we give to everything around us, but they determine the energy frequency we operate on and are the main criterion to define the overall quality of our lives.
